Our bodies make cholesterol, but we also get it from meats, eggs and dairy products. When our bodies take in more cholesterol than we need it causes plaque to build up and potentially clog our arteries. Clogged arteries can lead to stroke or heart attack.
Plaquex is a mixture of essential phospholipids that has been used by physicians for over 55 years in one fourth of the world’s nations. Research shows that it can reduce cholesterol by aiding in the removal of cholesterol deposits from cell membranes, arteries, fat cells, muscle and connective tissue.
Plaquex has been used to:
- Reduce heart pain
- Decrease bad cholesterol
- Increase good cholesterol
- Lower lipoprotein
- Improve memory function
- Lower high blood pressure
- Improve kidney function
- Protect damaged heart muscle
For regular patients, the initial dose is 20 ml Plaquex in 250 ml D5W given in 1.5 hours. The second treatment often consists of 30 ml Plaquex in 250 ml D5W. From the third treatment on the full vial of 50 ml Plaquex is given in 250 ml D5W. Between twenty and thirty treatments are recommended, and then one infusion per month to help maintain the achieved results.
In the mid-1990s Anita Baxas, M.D. was looking for a treatment to help her mother’s angina pectoris attacks. She discovered a German treatment called Lipostabil. Studies conducted since the 1950s had shown improvement in atherosclerosis patients. They saw their cholesterol and triglyceride levels normalize, and plaque deposits were removed. After treating her mother with Lipostabil, her angina subsided and she maintained good health. Back in the U.S. doctors wanted to order Lipostabil, but there were inefficient quantities and the cost was very expensive. Baxas and others worked with German scientists to create their own identical product which they called Plaquex. Since its creation in 1996, thousands of patients around the world have used Plaquex.
As we age cell membranes change and degrade. They lose elasticity, shape and the ability to function properly. Plaquex lipid replacement therapy is used to reverse plaque in the arteries, but can also affect cell aging and function. Studies show patients see a return in normal cell function after introducing Plaquex to the body. Cell aging is slowed, nourishment gains entry into the cell, and waste is removed.
What to Expect
Plaquex therapy is administered intravenously through an IV in our offices. Taking Plaquex orally would not provide patients with a high enough dosage to make a significant impact on health. Delivering Plaquex intravenously results in higher plasma levels and better overall results for patients. Multiple sessions are required for Plaquex to have a proper impact on cell rejuvenation.
Risks & Side Effects
Elevation of HDL, LLDL and liver enzymes has been experienced by patients in the early stages of treatment. Levels tend to normalize with continued treatment. Atherosclerotic patients, patients receiving treatment three times per week, and patients without a gall bladder have experienced diarrhea with Plaquex use. Some patients have experienced fatigue.
